If you are based in Sydney and have the following skills, we would be happy to hear from you.
- Project administration
- Project management
- Event management
- PR / Media
- Fundraising, marketing
- Accounts and finances
- Technical web skills
- Translations - Written, one on one and simultaneous. (French, Spanish, Arabic and other languages as required)
- Facilitation and Training
OIYP also welcomes International Volunteers and Interns. People interested in volunteering with OIYP must be able to support themselves financially both in terms of costs related to getting to Australia as well as living expenses in country. Whilst OIYP can provide limited support, potential volunteers and interns must organise their own logistics such as visas, travel, accommodation etc.
To register to volunteer with OIYP fill out the Oxfam volunteer registration stating your area of interest as OIYP.

Support the Oxfam IYP Delegates: strategic and/or financial
Strategic support may include assisting with local youth preparatory events and consultations, media support, support for their Action Plans and linking and networking delegates with other local youth organisations and networks.
Opportunities will also emerge to support OIYP2007 Delegates coming from your country and region both in the lead up to and beyond OIYP2007. Each OIYP2007 Delegate will need to raise money to support their attendance at OIYP2007. Financial support may include money for OIYP2007 registration, air fares and travel, visas and in country expenses.
If you are interested in working with and supporting your local OIYP2007 Delegate email info@iyp.oxfam.org outlining the support you can provide to Delegates indicating from which countries or regions.

We are constantly inundated with amazing stories from our network of over 300 action partners. OIYP represents an amazing opportunity to draw the attention of the worlds media and decision-makers to key development related youth issues. OIYP2004 received significant international, regional and local media coverage.
